Project Management

Project Management Fundamentals Workshop

Over the years, I have designed and delivered four iterations of this course across oil and gas, construction, and IT industries. Each time, I tailored the content to the participants’ levels of experience—some were completely new to project management, while others were seasoned professionals looking to refine their approach.

Many participants who started with this fundamentals course later decided to continue their journey in my PMP Exam Preparation Course, as this workshop provided them with a structured foundation in frameworks, methodologies, and practical applications of project management principles.

PMP Exam Preparation Course

This 10-day intensive course is designed for professionals preparing to take the PMP certification exam. I have delivered this course seven times, refining its structure to accommodate participants with varying levels of experience.

One of the challenges of PMP prep courses is balancing the level of instruction. When the majority of participants already have project management experience and have studied the PMBOK Guide, a two-week schedule works effectively. However, for those with limited experience, completing the course in 10 days can be overwhelming. I often recommend that participants with less experience start with the fundamentals course first, as it provides a more structured lead-up to PMP preparation.

IT Project Management

IT project management requires a different mindset compared to traditional project management. Having worked with IT professionals, PMOs, and decision-makers, I developed this one-week course to help project teams identify the right methodologies for their specific IT environments.

From agile transformations to hybrid project management approaches, this course is designed to help professionals bridge the gap between technical complexity and structured management frameworks.

PMO Setup

PMOs (Project Management Offices) are not one-size-fits-all. I created this course specifically for project management leads, executive consultants, and organizational managers who need to design a PMO structure suited to their organization’s industry, size, and goals.

Beyond theoretical discussions, this course focuses on real-world implementation, covering topics such as:

  • Framework selection (traditional vs. agile vs. hybrid PMOs)
  • Technology integration in PMO environments
  • Governance models and reporting structures

The course is highly interactive, with case studies and practical exercises to help professionals design custom PMO frameworks for their organizations.

Project Management Information Systems (PMIS)

This course explores how organizations integrate digital project management tools into their workflows. In my experience, many teams struggle with adopting the right technology for project oversight, leading to fragmented systems and inefficiencies.

The focus is on centralizing project data, streamlining communication, and using software like MS Project Server and Primavera P6 to support decision-making. Participants leave the course with a clear understanding of how to optimize digital project ecosystems.

Primavera P6 for Project Planning

In industries such as construction and oil & gas, Primavera P6 is one of the most widely used project planning tools. My Primavera P6 course focuses on:

  • Scheduling and resource planning
  • Risk management and earned value analysis
  • Project tracking and reporting

Participants gain hands-on experience in leveraging Primavera P6 for large-scale project planning, ensuring better control over timelines, budgets, and risks.

ITIL 4 Foundation Training

This course is highly specialized for IT managers and service professionals looking to establish IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks.

Unlike traditional classroom training, I’ve found that ITIL training is often more effective in a consultation-based format, where we analyze the specific challenges faced by each organization. When participants have already studied ITIL materials, I treat the course as an exam preparation program, working through real-world scenarios and exam-style questions to reinforce concepts.

AI in Business & HR

AI in Business

I designed this course for senior executives and decision-makers, focusing on how AI can be leveraged in strategic management. The program covers:

  • AI’s role in business process automation
  • Decision intelligence & AI-driven forecasting
  • Departmental AI applications (finance, marketing, HR, etc.)

The goal is not to train participants in AI development, but rather to help them make informed decisions about integrating AI within their business strategies.

AI in Human Resource Management

With the rise of generative AI in HR workflows, I created this course to help HR professionals adopt AI tools effectively. The course explores:

  • AI-powered recruitment & resume screening
  • Automated performance analysis & employee engagement
  • Ethical concerns in AI-driven HR practices

Advanced AI in Human Resource Management

This is an extension of the AI in HR course, designed for HR teams looking to build AI-enhanced HR systems customized to their organization. It includes:

  • Predictive analytics for workforce planning
  • AI-driven decision support for HR policies
  • Tailoring generative AI tools for HR needs

Because this course often involves custom implementations, I approach it as a mix of training and consultation, working closely with participants to develop AI strategies tailored to their organizations.

Leadership & Strategic Foresight

Strategic Planning and Leadership Workshop

I have led four sessions of this course for high-level managers in the oil and gas industry. The workshop is highly interactive, guiding participants through:

  • Three-round SWOT & Delphi analysis
  • Strategic vision and mission development
  • End-to-end strategic planning, from portfolio selection to execution

Developing Management Skills

This program is designed for mid-level employees looking to step into leadership roles. The course covers:

  • Problem-solving and decision-making frameworks
  • Collaboration & professional communication
  • Leadership skills for dynamic teams
  • Human Resource Management fundamentals

I often integrate project management principles into this course for those who are interested, providing a practical perspective on how leadership ties into project execution.

Specialized Industry Programs

Marketing Strategy in the Oil and Gas Industry

I developed and delivered two specialized courses on strategic marketing for the oil and gas sector. The program focuses on:

  • Market analysis and forecasting in energy industries
  • Competitive strategy and risk management
  • Branding and stakeholder engagement

Energy Risk Insurance

This is one of the most technically demanding courses I have taught. Unlike typical risk management courses, this one goes beyond traditional frameworks and delves into:

  • Energy insurance policies and underwriting processes
  • Financial risk modeling for energy projects
  • Regulatory and legal considerations

Due to the complexity of the subject, this course is typically delivered over two weeks, allowing participants to fully grasp the financial and operational aspects of risk insurance in the energy sector.
